PhD or Postdoctoral position at Center for Rehabilitation of Brain Injury
At the Center for Rehabilitation of Brain Injury in Copenhagen, Denmark, a PhD or Postdoctoral position is available starting on June 1, 2025. The po-sition is based at the Center for Rehabilitation of Brain Injury, and the can-didate will be enrolled in the Department of Psychology at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
The candidate will collaborate on a project that aims to examine the long-term consequences of acquired brain injury and evaluate the effects of a specialized interdisciplinary rehabilitation program in terms of socioeconomic variables and labor market attachment. The candidate will analyze already collected data and use linkage of national registries to investigate the research questions.
The selected candidate will join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with acquired brain injury. The position is fully funded for three years.

Your Tasks
- Operational project management and serving as a liaison between the involved parties
- Contribution to the development of the research project
- Data management
- Data analysis
- Writing scientific publications in internationally recognized journals
- Participation in national and international conferences.
- Teaching duties and supervision of master’s and bachelor’s theses.
- Contribution to academic self-administration.

Your Profile
- A completed master’s degree in health science, psychology, public health or similar.
- Experience in empirical research (particularly quantitative research).
- An open personality with strong communication skills and a willingness to work in a larger team.
- Motivation to work in the area of brain injury.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods, proficiency in English, and high self-motivation.
- Willingness to work in a clinical interdisciplinary setting and interact with relevant health professionals as part of the research project.
